 Q: How does email charity work?

Step 1: Choose your cause or charity.

Use the provided installer to automatically install the banner into your email client.

 Step 2: Send E-Mails as usual

Your email charity banner will be added to every E-Mail that you send.

 Q: How does email charity store my personal data?

A. Email charity has high security standards. Your personal data will not be given to any third party.

Our installer application is 100% free of any unwanted advertisement or spyware.

Registration and User account

 Q: Why should I register?

A : After creating your first signature you will be registered with email charity automatically. This way you can come back later and change your signature or add a new one to your account.

 Q: I did not receive my confirmation mail after I signed up. What should I do?

A: Please check the spam/bulk folder in your E-Mail account. If you have not received any mail, please try again or send us an email at support@emailcharity.com.

 Q: I cannot log in?

A: Please check your E-Mail address and your password. If you forgot your password, you can request a new one to be send to you.

 

Questions about the signature

 Q: I already have a signature for my E-Mails. Can I still use email charity?

A: Yes. Your mail client can manage several signatures. Your email charity banner can also replace your old signature if you choose this option.

 Q: Does the email charity installer work with Linux or Apple Computers?

A: Yes, since the installer is JAVA based. Only the supported mail clients may vary.

 Q: How do I install my signature in my webmail client(Yahoo, Gmail etc)?

A: If you do not use a regular mail client but use webmail instead, you can use our webmail installer which supports some major webmail providers. Just install the browser plugin and your banner will be send with every email.

 Q: After installing the signature successfully, it still won’t show in my E-Mails.

A: Check if your mail client automatically attaches the signature to each message.

Make sure the mail format is set to html.

 Q: The signature is not shown anymore?

A: One of the reasons could be that the signature file got deleted or removed by accident. Please try replacing the file.

 Q: Which payment options are available?

A: Right now, all donations are made directly via the website of the charity. Please refer to the information on that site.

 Q: How much of my donation will the charity receive?

A. Donations are made at each of the charities own website. Please refer to the information provided by the charity about their policies.

 Q: Can I donate directly at the email charity website?

A: We hope to implement a donation system for all charities soon.
